Is real money involved?

No. There is no money, no wagering, no chips, no balance and no purchases. The app teaches which decision is correct and why; you never place a bet.

Is it really free?

Yes. No in-app purchases, no subscription, no ads. Every screen is open from the first launch.

The app marked a play wrong that I thought was right

Check the table rules you have configured first: deck count, whether the dealer hits or stands on soft 17, whether you can double after splitting, and whether surrender is offered. Each of those moves cells in the chart. The app recalculates the whole strategy for the rules you give it, so on a different table the correct play can be a different one.

On the table rules screen, every setting has a "Which cells change?" link that shows you exactly what moves.

Where do the charts come from?

The app's engine computes them by solving the expected value of every play, removing from the shoe the cards already visible. On the reference table — six decks, dealer stands on soft 17, double after split, no surrender — the result has been checked cell by cell against published basic strategy. The strategy screen names the source and the date it was checked.

Does it teach card counting?

No. The app teaches basic strategy: what to do with each hand against each dealer upcard. Counting is a separate discipline and is out of scope.

I lost my statistics

Progress is stored only on the device. There is no account and no cloud backup, so deleting the app or switching phones clears it. That's the trade-off for collecting no data at all.

Does it work offline?

Always. The app never connects to the internet: every calculation runs on your device.
