Horalia — tracks the hours you work for each family and what you're owed.
Horalia collects nothing about you. There is no server, no account to create, no analytics and no ads. What you write down is stored on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account, which neither the app's author nor anyone else can reach.
What the app stores, and where
Horalia stores what you type: the names of the families you work for, their rates, the hours you log, your notes, and the invoices you close.
That lives in two places, both yours:
- Your device, in the app's private storage.
- Your iCloud account, in the private database Apple reserves for each app and each user. That's what keeps your information around if you change phones or lose one, and what makes it show up on your other devices signed in to the same account.
That private database is run by Apple, not by the app's author. The author cannot see it, query it, or receive a copy of anything. If you want to know what Apple does with what you store in iCloud, their privacy policy explains it: apple.com/legal/privacy.
What the app does NOT do
- It doesn't send your data to any server run by the author. No such server exists.
- No analytics, no usage measurement, no crash reporting.
- No ads, and nothing shared with advertisers.
- No tracking across apps or websites.
- It never asks for your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
- No third-party code: the only pieces it uses are frameworks from the operating system itself.
Face ID
You can ask Horalia to lock when it opens. When you do, the app asks the system "is this person the owner of this device?" and receives only a yes or a no. Horalia never sees your face, your fingerprint or any biometric data: that never leaves the device's secure chip and no app can read it.
If the device has no passcode and no biometrics set up, that lock can't protect anything, and the app says so instead of leaving you with a false sense of security.
The PDF receipts
When you close an account, Horalia generates a PDF on your device and offers it for sharing. It goes only where you choose, through the normal iOS share sheet. The app doesn't upload it anywhere.
One thing to keep in mind: that receipt carries the family's name, the days and hours worked, the amounts, and any notes you wrote on each entry. It's a receipt meant to be handed to that family; the note field says so as you type it.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app from your device removes what it kept there. Whatever is in your iCloud is managed from the system settings, in the iCloud section, same as any other app. You don't need to ask anyone: there is no copy somewhere else to request removal from.
Children
Horalia is a work tool for keeping track of hours. It isn't directed at children under 13, and it collects no information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If the app ever added its own networking, analytics or purchases, this page would be updated before that change reached the store. The date below is there precisely so you can check.
